Where do tsunamis occur?

Tsunamis, 80% of the time, happen in the ring of fire. That is the mostly border of the pacific plate.   It is near left North & South America, eastern Asia, and New Zealand. There are a lot of volcanoes in the area, hence the name. A famous example is Mt. Saint Helens. This was located in Washington State, within the ring of fire.
